01 Use special tools for bearing installation and disassembly
Advanced installation tools can avoid bearing damage caused by improper tools and operation during installation. For example, when installing bearings, the staff used copper rod knocking method, easy to cause uneven bearing axial force, resulting in cage deformation, damage to the rolling body, widening clearance, and copper rod in the knocking process, the copper fly into the bearing cage, easy to cause bearing failure.
Check the bearing before installation
For old bearings, it is necessary to check whether there are burrs, scratches and cracks on the surface of the ball (column). Whether the radial clearance and axial clearance of old bearings are qualified, generally only the radial clearance is measured. For new bearings, first check whether the bearing model is correct. Radial clearance standards of rolling bearings refer to Table 1. For example: Model 6318 deep groove ball bearing, bearing inner diameter 90mm, its radial clearance range is 0.016 ~ 0.046mm, bearing wear can also be found to be 0.25mm.
Check the fit size of bearing and rotor shaft
When assembling the motor, it is also necessary to carefully check the mating size of bearing and rotor shaft during bearing installation (Table 2), and the mating size of bearing outer ring and end cover hole.
04 Control the number of bearings and bearing indoor oil
Bearing and the oil in the cabinet is overmuch, can cause bearing roller sliding, caused by the rolling friction sliding friction and rolling body damage bearing roller, because of the excessive amount of oil bearing, bearing in the free space is small, the operating temperature of the bearing will rise, grease hz degree is reduced, the lubricating oil film thinning, roller, and the bad lubrication condition is easy to cause bearing different sound, surface smooth, shorten the service life of bearing. Generally, there is a bearing oil chamber at the end cover side of the motor (except for the motor designed with double sealed bearings). According to the speed of the motor, the amount of oil filling in the bearing chamber can be implemented according to the following standards: when the motor speed is less than 1500r/min, the amount of oil filling is 2/3 of the capacity of the bearing chamber. When the speed is between 1500 ~ 3000r/min, it is 1/2 of the bearing chamber volume. When the speed is > 3000r/min, it should be less than or equal to 1/3 of the bearing volume. In the actual working process, for bearings running at high temperature and high speed, bearings with sealing face should be used as little as possible, oil storage amount of motor oil cover should be increased, and refueling nozzle should be installed, which can improve the operation life of motor bearings.
Make sure the insulation is in good condition
For bearings with insulation design on the outer ring, attention should be paid to ensure that the insulation is intact. If the insulation of the bearing is destroyed during installation, the thin bearing oil film will be broken down by the shaft voltage. After the oil film is broken down, not only the lubrication condition of the rolling body is poor, but also the electric spark generated will form electrical erosion of the bearing rolling body, causing the surface of the rolling body not only to accelerate the wear of the bearing.
